Death, my dear, is only the beginning...

Freud once theorized that human beings are subject to two drives: love (Eros) and death (Thanatos). While his psychoanalytic theory has long been expanded upon, no one can argue how fundamental love and death is to our existence. Within this collection are twelve stories that explore the fine line between these concepts. It also features a diverse group of authors whose often unheard voices tell stories of resilience, strength, and triumph through tragedy. Haunting as any Quill & Crow anthology, these stories seek to intrigue, inspire, and give a whole new meaning to "until death do us part."

Featuring stories by Alexandria Baker, Megan Bontrager, Dan Dolan, A.L. Garcia, Rebecca Jones-Howe, Jeremy Megargee, Newton, Kayla Whittle, Ashley Van Elswyk and Perry Wolfecastle.

Edited by Cassandra L. Thompson & Damon Barrett Roe, Quill & Crow Publishing House.

Author Cassandra L. Thompson

Gothic horror writer and occasional dark goddess, Cassandra L. Thompson has been creating stories since she got her grubby little hands around a pen. When she is not busy managing a house full of feral children (human and canine), you can find her wandering around cemeteries, taking pictures of abandoned things, or in the library doing research on her latest obsession. She has a B.A. in History and a MLIS, but she ignores her degrees to write and run Quill & Crow Publishing House, both of which require copious amounts of coffee and Crows.
